Gameplay Mechanics #1 is a game programming portfolio. 

C++ programming was implemented for the gameplay mechanics with a few additions to the character blueprint.

The gameplay mechanics implemented are:

  • Jetpack [Spacebar]
  • Dashing [Left Shift]
  • Gravity Gun [LMB & RMB]

More blueprints were added to further improve the testing of the gameplay mechanics, such as:

  • HUD widget to display the Jetpack's fuel tank as well as the Gravity Gun's firing force output. 
  • A sliding gate mechanic that can be opened by interacting with the 'Open Gate' button at the end of the testing track. 
  • Main Menu and Pause Menu widgets to allow players to start, resume, restart, and quit the game. 

Level Blockout was built on Unreal Engine 4.

More features may be added in future updates.
